Emmerdale spoilers: Chas Dingle affair ‘uncovered’ after Faith’s death | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

For months, fans of Emmerdale have seen Chas ( Lucy Pargeter) and Al Chapman’s (Michael Wildman) feelings for one another deepen despite both having significant others. Although they’ve managed to keep their affair secret, in upcoming episodes all could be about to be revealed. As her mum Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) is dying at home, Chas remains blissfully unaware of the heartbreak as she enjoys a night of passion with Al.

As Emmerdale is in its 50th anniversary months, bosses of the ITV soap have teased viewers can expect big storylines for the residents, including Chas and Al’s affair.

Although Chas is married to Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Al is with Kerry (Laura Norton), he’s recently realised that she’s the one he wants to be with.

Deciding to put a plan into motion, he decides the best thing for them to do is run away together as he starts getting his affairs for a house.

Texting Chas that he’s going to call it a day on his relationship with Kerry at the Woolpack, Al is taken aback when his girlfriend suddenly proposes to him.

Once their affair is exposed it could come to a deadly end which actor Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain, has teased.

Speaking to the Express and other media publications, he said: “I think Al and Cain have been circling each other for quite a while, and they have probably been circling each other because of Covid.  

“But I can’t get near him because of Covid, which was the sensible thing to do, but this is going to lead to something if he finds out. I think there could be fireworks but not the kind you get in November. 

When the Emmerdale star was asked if there will be a fight within the Dingle family he teased that there could be.
