Gabby Thomas (played by Rosie Bentham) is counting down the days until her wedding to Emmerdale newcomer Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope).

However, she remains clueless about his true intentions on the Yorkshire-based drama.

Nicky is the son of Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) who has roped the Emmerdale nanny into his scheme to take over Home Farm and destroy Kim Tate (Claire King).

Nicky has been working as a nanny at Home Farm and made Gabby fall in love with him as part of his and Caleb’s plan.

However, Nicky has been questioning the plan in recent weeks and told his dad he didn’t think he could go through with marrying Gabby after revealing he’s gay.

While Caleb wished Nicky told him about his sexuality sooner, he still wants his son to go through with the wedding.

He’s been emotionally blackmailing Nicky by telling him his mother would be homeless if they didn’t get the money from Kim’s estate.

In upcoming scenes, Nicky gets cold feet about the prospect of tying the knot with Gabby as he celebrates his stag do.

He agrees to meet up with his lover Ally (Josh Horrocks) in private, but it looks as though the pair might get caught.

Will Nicky’s secret be exposed ahead of his wedding to Gabby or will the latter learn the truth as she walks down the aisle?

Gabby’s mother Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) questioned Nicky’s sexuality earlier this week when they were having a drink in The Woolpack.

Bernice reminded her daughter her ex-husbands had left her for men in the past, and Nicky appeared sheepish.

When he made a swift jump to the bar to get more drinks, Bernice asked Gabby if she thought Nicky might be gay.
