EastEnders favourite Stacey Slater (played by Lacey Turner) will be left terrified in upcoming episodes of the BBC soap after it seems as though her stalker has broken into her house.

Stacey has no idea the anonymous person who’s been scaring her lately is Theo Hawthrone (William Ellis), who has been tutoring her teenaged daughter Lily Slater (Lilia Turner) during her pregnancy.

Theo is also becoming increasingly angry with anyone who stands between himself and Stacey, despite telling the Walford favourite he respects her wanting to remain friends.

Official spoilers reveal Theo takes his concerning behaviour even further soon as he trashes Stacey’s bedroom.

A vulnerable Stacey decides to keep Theo around for protection, putting herself in more danger.

In scenes yet to air, a concerned Suki Panesar (Balvinda Sopal) finds Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) sleeping rough on a bench after spending the night drinking.

After a heart-to-heart about her sister’s death, Eve goes with Suki to the police station to share new information on the case, but Eve is infuriated to be told that Caz Johnston (Bryony Afferson) has served her time and the case is now closed.

Eve heads to The Albert and drinks herself into oblivion.

Suki enlists Stacey’s help to track Eve down, dragging her away from her coffee with Theo, which infuriates him.

When Stacey learns the truth about Eve’s sister’s death, she panics when Felix Baker (Matthew James Morrison) reveals she left to go and meet Caz.

Meanwhile, Eve has met Caz outside the Albert but is quickly spotted by Suki and Stacey.

Stacey takes a shaken Caz back to No.31 to try and diffuse the situation, but Caz is spooked again when Suki and Eve arrive.

Once alone with Caz, Theo meddles, encouraging her to go to the police in the hope of getting Eve out of the picture once and for all, but Suki overhears and interrupts.

Caz makes her excuses for the bathroom, but it’s not long before Suki discovers she’s left for the police station.

Stacey is spooked when she arrives home to find her bedroom has been trashed.

Martin Fowler (James Bye) is back from Bulgaria, but Stacey keeps tight-lipped on the break-in, fearing his reaction.

Eve is shocked when Theo arrives to tutor Lily, but it’s clear that Stacey wants him around following the incident.

Eve and Theo have some cross words about his meddling behaviour with Caz.

Later, Eve heads to the café to fill Martin in on Stacey’s stalker.

EastEnders continues on Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
