Diablo 4 Confirms Nvidia DLSS 3 Support With New Trailer

Nvidia recently shared a brief teaser trailer for Diablo 4, confirming that the game will be released with DLSS 3 support. However, this doesn’t include the current beta version as it currently only supports DLSS 2.

With the announcement of its RTX 4000 series graphics cards, Nvidia also introduced a new version of its DLSS tech that comes with significant improvements over DLSS 2. The new version of DLSS will only be available on RTX 4000 series GPUs, and it will help boost frame rates while also benefiting from ray tracing.

Unfortunately, Nvidia’s trailer doesn’t feature any comparisons to showcase the magic touch of DLSS 3 in action. This is probably due to the fact that the game has not yet received DLSS 3 integration, but it will be ready for the full release on June 6th.

The early access beta for Diablo 4 kicks off today and will be available until March 19. Only players who have pre-purchased the game will receive access to this beta session. However, a free open beta period will also go live next weekend, where all players can try out Diablo 4 before its full release.

If you are a content creator on Twitch or YouTube, you can submit a request to be invited for the early access beta as well without pre-ordering the game. However, your streaming brand or profile needs to meet a number of minimum requirements.

In other news from Diablo 4, the series’ general manager Rod Ferguson has revealed that Blizzard has no plans to launch Diablo 4 directly on Xbox Game Pass. Regarding the fact that Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision-Blizzard still struggles to get approvals from regulators around the world, this decision is probably not going to change unless the deal goes through before June 6.

Diablo 4 has also not received a Steam page yet, which likely means the game will remain exclusive to the BattleNet launcher. Activision-Blizzard announced a return to Steam with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 last year, but that apparently doesn’t seem to be the case with the Diablo series.
