Spike Chunsoft has announced the upcoming launch of Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp, coming to both iOS and Android devices in North America and Europe on July 21st. The game will also be available on Steam and on PlayStation, and will feature an enhanced version of the board game from Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony.
In Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp, players can expect to dive in once more into the Ultimate Talent Development Plan, the popular board game from Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. Players will be able to boost their characters from the “Development (Boardgame),” “Battle” and more in Jabberwock Island. For instance, landing on a Growth Square will increase a character’s level and so on.
The game also features an epic crossover of Danganronpa characters, giving fans a taste of more than a thousand event scenes. There will be various swimsuit outfits for the characters as well. Players simply have to earn money via battles, upgrade their gear, defeat bosses and proceed to the next island.
In particular, players can develop their favourite characters over 50 days (50 turns) by rolling dice. Depending on where the character lands on, an event will be triggered. You will also be able to interact with others on Event Squares. Of course, Monokuma can always complicate things by placing Bosses on squares to spice up the gameplay.
If you’re eager to know more about Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp, you can check out the game on Steam for now and add it to your wishlist ahead of the mobile launch. The single-player adventure will cost $19.99 a pop or your local equivalent.
