Coronation Street’s Lauren Bolton (played by Cait Fitton) has been living with the Platts whilst she finds her feet, but she could be about to ruin their newly found trust in her after making a sexual advance towards Roy Cropper (David Neilson).

Lauren recently cut off contact with her father who is in prison and decide to ask Max Turner (Paddy Beaver) for help.

Whilst Shona Platt (played by Julia Goulding) and David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) were apprehensive at first, they were willing to help her.

In upcoming scenes, Shona gives Lauren a pep talk on how to deal with awkward customers during her trial shift.

She soon puts her advice into action when Beth Sutherland (Lisa George) accuses Lauren of short-changing her.

Instead of snapping, Lauren remains calm and urges Beth to check her pockets to make sure she gave her the right note.

After proving her wrong, Shona congratulates Lauren on the way she handled the difficult altercation.

Back at the Platt residence, Lauren tells Max about her successful day in the cafe.

After all they have been through, Max is pleased for her but when Lauren misreads his kindness and tries to kiss him, he pulls away leaving her embarrassed.

She storms out and heads to the cafe where she tells Roy she made a fool of herself and wishes to resign.

Sensing her pain, Roy offers her food and a bed for the night before she makes any irrational decisions, but is horrified when she offers to sleep with him to show her gratitude.

Realising the mistake and feeling more embarrassed than she did before, Lauren distracts Roy before she leaves the cafe and runs off with no money or plan.

Worried, Roy leaves a message for Shona hoping she might have heard from Lauren, but his worry increases when she reveals neither she nor Max has seen her.

Later, Lauren calls for her things and inadvertently lets slip to Max and Shona that she made a pass at Roy as that is what men expect.

Will Shona and Max be able to convince Lauren to stay at theirs until she is properly back on her feet?

Can Lauren show her face in the cafe again despite feeling embarrassed about what happened with Roy?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
