Next week on Coronation Street, Eliza Woodrow (played by Savannah Kunyo) lies to Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) and Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) that she is going to holiday club.

When Stu finds out there is no holiday club and he can’t find her anywhere he is shocked to find her with a strange man at the precinct.

Meanwhile, Eliza confides in Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) that she’s worried her Mum might try and stop her from seeing her Dad.

Stu calls Bridget, who is in prison, and informs her that Eliza has been in contact with her Dad.

Later, he apologises to Eliza for the way he treated her Dad but the youngster is unforgiving.

Yasmeen and Stu return home to find Eliza FaceTiming her Dad and he loses his temper and a row ensues.

Could the man in the precinct be Eliza’s dad who has reached out to reconcile with his daughter?

If so, it could mean Eliza’s father will fight for full custody of her and Stu could lose his granddaughter.

Or, could the man simply be posing as her father leaving Eliza in danger?

Fans are concerned for the teen after she has been seen taking secret calls from a mystery man named Dom.

Taking to Twitter, fans have shared their concern for Eliza, with one posting: “I wonder who that Dom was speaking to Eliza? He’s either her dad or he’s a paedophile.”

Another added: “Who in the whatsit what is Dom? And why is that little girl so eager to meet him? Would she have her dad saved in phone as Dom? That totally threw me.”

“#Corrie is Eliza being groomed?” asked a third fans as another posted: “This Harriet looks and sounds like a man, what has Eliza got herself into.”

Someone else tweeted: “Who is little Eliza talking to? This seems dodgy #Corrie.”

When Stu loses his temper with Eliza he could push her to run away and end up in danger.

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm.
