Coronation Street newcomer Courtney is ‘lost little girl’ as she starts affair with Aadi | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Courtney Vance (played by Stephanie Davis) is set to arrive next week with her husband Darren Vance (Ryan Early) and quickly starts an affair with Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain).

Stephanie Davis recently opened up about Courtney’s arrival on Coronation Street and how she feels as she starts her relationship with Aadi.

Speaking to Express.co.uk and other press, she explained: “Courtney is definitely attracted to him but I think a lot of it comes from her relationship with Darren.

“He has cheated on her multiple times, I think it has affected her self-worth and her confidence.

“I know she is attracted to him [Aadi] but I think a lot of it as well is to get one back on her husband.

“She wants someone to love her and he shows that to her and gives her that love and affection.

“She is used to getting what she wants, what Courtney wants, Courtney gets but like I said that is a big bravado, and from what I see, deep down she is just a lost little girl.

“At first it is a bit of fun but she starts to see this other side to him and he definitely sees another side to her and then it gets a bit more serious.”

Official spoilers reveal that Aadi is excited to get the chance to work with Darren, but soon realises he has only been hired to be a taxi for Courtney.

Aadi confides in Courtney about why he took the job in the hopes he would gain some business experience and share his own ideas.

During their talk, Courtney reveals she has an MBA and suggests sharing his ideas with her as a way to get them to Darren.

Together Courtney and Aadi get Darren to agree to a meeting with Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) to express their business ideas and expand their franchise.

As the meeting draws to an end, Aadi gets a text from Courtney telling him to meet her at Darren’s office.

Aadi arrives to find Courtney alone and she makes it clear she’s got the hots for him, with Courtney leaning in for a kiss, but how will Aadi respond?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
