In recent weeks, Coronation Street viewers have watched as Daisy Midgeley (played by Charlotte Jordan) continues to be harassed by Justin (Andrew Still). The barmaid recently applied for a stalking protection order against Justin, but after Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) attacked him, it was denied. Despite constantly looking over her shoulder, Daisy is hellbent on planning her dream wedding even though a lot of her sponsors had pulled out from helping her.

In official spoilers released by ITV, Daisy prepares for her hen do with her friends.

Her mum, Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) is also thrilled when Daisy asks her if she’d give her away at the wedding.

Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) tries on her bridesmaid’s dress, but when Daisy mentions the hen night, she panics and claims she won’t be able to make it.

Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) has also set her sights on performing at the wedding and belts out songs behind the bar hoping to win Daisy round.

As the stags have a low-key do at the Bistro, Christina (Amy Robbins) reveals she’s organised a surprise for Daisy.

However, Daisy is mortified when two old friends, Samantha (Laura Meredith) and Ellie (Charlotte Linighan) arrive at the party.

Daisy is surprised by their appearance, but could her old pals end up exposing some of the barmaid’s dark secrets?

During Friday night’s episode, Daisy asked Tracy to give the couple a discount on wedding flowers.

However, Tracy decided to bargain with her new sister-in-law.

The flower shop owner gave Daisy the ultimatum of becoming her bridesmaid, or she wouldn’t provide any flowers for her wedding.

She simply told the bride-to-be: “Take it or leave it.”

The actress who plays the barmaid also recently opened up about her storyline and how it may play out.

When discussing her stalker Justin, Charlotte told Express.co.uk and other press: “Daisy is a feisty, confident character and she has a gob on her so she is not afraid to tell people to do one if she feels she needs to.

“But, what you are seeing is this guy who totally takes her power from her, you can’t control how other people behave and you can’t control how other people interpret things.

“So she feels totally powerless and you will slowly see Justin sort of desolate all the things that make her Daisy, which is just really sad.

“Luckily she has got people around her that love her and are going to support her through it but no one can really understand what she is going through.

“So he is going to slowly but surely sort of destroy everything that makes her, her really.”

The soap star admitted Daisy is “always on edge” and she’s “constantly looking over her shoulder”.

“She never knows when he is going to appear,” Charlotte continued. “And because he is totally delusional and believes they are in this loving relationship and somehow Daniel is an obstacle for them she doesn’t know how far that delusion is going to go.”

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
