Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth) has some pretty long cutscenes in it, as well as having a lot of them. With hours of cutscene footage, the story has room to be rich and interesting. Which is what makes it especially worse when you accidentally skip one.

How to rewatch cutscenes in FF7 Rebirth

Unfortunately, you are unable to rewatch old cutscenes in FF7 Rebirth. Unlike other titles that have allowed you to, if you’ve skipped or missed something, then there are no in-game measures to help you with that.

This means that the only way to review cutscenes you’ve missed is by watching them on YouTube, however that always comes with the risk of spoilers, especially if you don’t want to know how far into the game you are. Some may also not want to know how long is left of the game.

Although it’s a minor price to pay for watching important cutscenes you’ve missed.

There are many YouTube Channels dishing out the many hours of cutscenes into episodes, however one channel, GamersPrey, released all of the cutscenes into one long video for your viewing pleasure. Alternatively, you can watch one of the other many episodic releases of the cutscenes.

Naturally, you’ll have to progress through this video, and the others, very carefully so not to spoil yourself. I’d recommend to start from the beginning and slowly double-tap your way through the video until you arrive at the desired video. It’s slower than taking an estimated stab at any point in the video and working from there, but the risk that you spoil something is too great. There isn’t a lot of accuracy in 13 hour YouTube video progress bars.

It is a shame that a game that uses cutscenes so heavily doesn’t allow you a way to experience the videos in-game, but honestly, watching on YouTube is more accessible than it would have been in-game, and you can pause it and even communicate with other fans in the comments, so maybe we’ve not got it so bad.

Now you can sit back and catch up on any cutscenes you missed or skipped, even if it is on YouTube. If you’re short for time, you can skip a cutscene, exit the game, and watch it later. What’s more than saving time by skipping these cutscenes, is saving Cloud completely from the troubles of the plot.
