During the third semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent, fans watched as two more acts moved one step closer to performing at the Royal Variety Performance.

Throughout the night, ITV viewers saw Dylan B, Toy Toy Toy, Notorious, Markus Birdman, Miki Dark, Travis George and Harry Churchill all take to the stage.

Also performing was Bruno Tonioli’s Golden Buzzer act Ghetto Kids, who were crowned as the winners of the night and earned a place in the final on Sunday night.

The judges then had to choose between singer Travis George and rocker Harry Churchill as to who they would send to the final.

As Alesha Dixon and Bruno chose Travis and Amanda Holden opted to save Harry, it was left to Simon Cowell to decide.

However, unable to pick between them he decided to make it a tie which resulted in it coming down to the public vote.

In the end, it was Travis who had won over the public and earned that second place in the final.

As the scenario unfolded, many viewers were unimpressed with the judges as some fumed the show was a fix and favoured certain acts.

Taking to Twitter to share their frustration, user I_am_KenBarlow reeled: “#BGT #BritainsGotTalent Does Simon Cowell stand to make more money if one of his hand-picked invited acts wins rather than a genuine amateur act? #fix”

AlfMax123 added: “That’s 3 nights in a row that the act with the least or no talent has won. Total vote Fix#BGT #BGT2023.”

Jesshoskingx commented: “Travis already looking at Ghetto Kids before they’d even gone through and being so excited for them…as if we needed any more confirmation that this show is a fix #BGT.”

Broadcaster India Willoughby tweeted: “It’s such a fix. Every year I say I’ll never watch again #BGT.”

Sandy Ward added: “#BGT I’ve just noticed how fixed this is. They pay attention to stage props, lighting and effects to the ones that they want to go through. F**k the others, they get nothing. And yet they have just as much talent.”

However, not all viewers were unhappy to see the act go through to the finale many believed their place was well deserved.

Social media user xx_Michelle_oo commented: “Yes Ghetto Kids that final spot is thoroughly deserved [sic] they were outstanding. Hope they win this year’s BGT #GhettoKids #BGT #bgt.”

Ghetto Kids and Travis will be joining the other acts who have made it through the semi-finals this week which includes Viggo Venn, Olivia Lynes, Musa Motha and Amy Lou.

Britain’s Got Talent continues Thursday night on ITV from 8pm.
