Britain’s Got Talent viewers branded the ITV show a “fix” on Friday night as some fans were unhappy with which acts made it to the final three.

There were mixed emotions from viewers as many felt dance group Unity, which was Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer, were “robbed” of a place in the top three.

Some questioned why Tonikaku got through to the final three instead of Unity, while others hope he is chosen as a wildcard.

In the end, it was magician Cillian O’Connor and dancer Lillianna who sailed through to Sunday’s live final.

Cillian made it through by the public vote, while Lillianna was chosen by all four judges.

However, it’s not over for the acts who didn’t make it as one will be chosen to perform as a wild card.

Simon Cowell said: “There’s gonna be a wild card and it has to be someone in who made the top three right. So we’ll have that argument later on.”

Turning to runner-up Tonikaku, Declan Donnelly said: “Toni, we loved having you on Britain’s Got Talent.

“You have been unbelievable, thank you so much for being part of this year. We love you”

Taking to Twitter to share their thoughts about the result, @BattleGoff fumed: “#BGT is so horribly predictable nowadays.”

@ChelseaaJadee98 complained: “Sorry but how did Unity not get into the top three… Clearly a f***ing fix #BGT.”

@AmyTeamLH shared: “Unity were b****y robbed. They were the best of the night by a mile! #BGT.”

While @accordingtosals asked: “The world has gone mad. Who on earth voted for the pants man over Unity?!?!?!”

@sarcasaminc argued: “Pants guy over the comedian and unity???? What is happening to this show #BGT.”

@xxkathleenx went on to say: “#bgt #BritainsGotTalent total fix been trying all night to vote for Scotland’s own Cammy and it wouldn’t let me!!” (sic)

James Stevenson fumed: “I don’t understand. WHATTTTTTT? Unity are the best act this series. What were the British public watching? #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.” (sic)

However, clearly thrilled over the end result, @Aaron_H94 said: “Finally the two acts I want through get through.”

Britain’s Got Talent returns on Sunday at 7.30pm on ITV.
