Team Z is already suffering a lot in the regime and are sitting on the edge of getting kicked out of Blue Lock. On top of that, the recent betrayal by Kuon has made things even more difficult. Still, the team managed to score a goal somehow and retained their place in Blue Lock by ending the match in a draw. Despite this, Kuon hasn’t stopped trying to deceive the teams as he tries his luck again by trying to convince Team V for the same kind of deal. Now, it’s time for us to see how Team Zs match goes with Team V and how Team Z will tackle Kuon in Episode 8.

Blue Lock Episode 7 Recap

The current score is 4-3, keeping Team Z under pressure to somehow score at least one more goal. Chigiri gets the ball, but it is snatched by the opposite team instantly. Chigiri then recalls his soccer career in high school, when he was considered a genius and a star player in the team. His speed was considered a crucial part of helping his team win. At that time, he played with Wanima Brothers.

He then recalls his ACL injury, which almost brought his soccer career to an end. The same injury instilled fear in his mind, due to which he lost his confidence and started holding back. The only way for Team Z to win is by making a strategy that would be new for Team W, and Chigiri scoring the goal is Team Zs only option as Kuon wasn’t aware of his injury.

Noticing Isagi and his teammates’ desire to win, Chigiri breaks free from his fear, and Isagi passes on the ball to Chigiri. At the last moment, he is able to score the goal, bringing the score to 4-4. After the match, Kuon is beaten by Team W for not telling them about Chigiri’s injury. Later, Kuon tries to break the same deal with Team V, but they don’t agree and humiliate him instead. The episode ends with Isagi approaching Team V and telling them that he will defeat them.
