A couple of weeks ago, Pearl Abyss announced a new class coming to adventure RPG, Black Desert. Titled Igneous, this powerful new hero employs the elements of both fire and water to battle foes. His addition comes with a number of in-game events.
Igneous employs his elemental powers to obliterate anyone that is in his way. He is an Awakened Wizard, who excels in AoE attacks. Igneous may not be the best in 1v1 situations, but he can do sufficient damage when taking on waves of enemies simultaneously. The character comes with four elemental skills, with more becoming available by gaining levels.
- Aqua Jail Explosion – A barrier of icy water is created, which traps enemies within and deals damage through a massive explosion
- Calamity – Igneous unleashes his flames onto a wide area, doing damage over time
- Bolide of Destruction – It sees the hero summons a spirit bomb-like fireball, which is hurled onto enemies, decimating them on impact. Combining moves can increase its size and follow the attack with a Knock-up effect too
- Savantgarde – Igneous’ powers make him immune to the same. He has high elemental resistance, which in turn raises in power of the fire and water elements
The Igneous Class’ arrival is being accompanied by a few character growth events. Until April 10th, players will be able to take part in the Igneous Unravels His Arcana Event, which will award everyone with Igneous arcana. This can be further exchanged for in-game items that will boost character stats.
Other valuable in-game materials, crucial for gaining levels, will be available through the Igneous Level Up Event. It will remain live until April 24th and will allow players to get Igneous up to level 70.
