While you can find Fallen Embers in any location in No Rest for the Wicked, you’ll have the best luck farming them in Orban Glades and Nameless Pass. Out of all the chests I’ve encountered along my journey, the ones in these two locations had the highest chance of having Fallen Embers inside.

If you’re looking to run the Cerim Crucible a bunch of times, you should focus on exploring and farming Orban Glades and Nameless Pass whenever you have time to spare. Doing so will ensure you never run out of Fallen Embers for the Cerim Crucible. Remember, chests and resources respawn every hour or so.

Keep in mind that there will be times when Captain Randolph will offer a challenge or a bounty with a Fallen Ember as a reward, so make sure you always check in with him.

What is the Cerim Crucible in No Rest for the Wicked?

Cerim Crucible is endgame content for the early access version of No Rest for the Wicked. It’s done in a roguelike fashion, where if you die, you return to the start and have to start from scratch. Every time you enter the Cerim Crucible, it will cost you one Fallen Ember.

There are 10 rooms in the Cerim Crucible, each being more challenging than the last. If you manage to make it through all the rooms without dying, you’ll go up against the final boss named “Echo Knight.” I recommend saving a good amount of food for the Echo Knight due to the brutal difficulty.

The Cerim Crucible is the toughest challenge in No Rest for the Wicked, but it is well worth it due to the loot you can receive while playing it. There are more legendary weapon drops, stronger rings, rare materials, etc.
