NBA 2K23 is here, and fans of the series are amped to, once again, tie up their sneakers and hit the courts within the premier basketball title out there.

For fans of the series, your MyPlayer has evolved over the years, and with 2K Games implementing the MyPlayer customizable builds a few years ago, the options are endless.

Builds are essential for MyPlayer/MyCareer as this is how your player will be shaped within your journey within NBA 2K.

Whether you’re a menacing SF similar to LeBron James or an electric PG like Trae Young, we’ll run over the best builds for MyPlayer to get you to hit the ground running!

NBA 2K23: Best Builds for MyCareer and MyPlayer

One jarring aspect compared to previous iterations of NBA 2K is that this year’s MyPlayer Builder can be daunting to new players or even ones returning from last year.

This is mainly due to the steps in complexity they’ve taken in NBA 2K23. When you delegate attribute points towards specific skill sets, it’ll drastically affect the badges and player type you’ll receive.

PG Build

To begin this list, we’re going to talk about one of the most popular all-around guard builds that the community has been gravitating toward, and it’s all thanks to YouTuber Solo

For this build, you will want to begin as a Point Guard and make your body the following settings.

6’2”.
220 lbs.

Max Weight.
Due to differences in this year’s build, this will give you max attributes for this build.

6’11” Wingspan.
Compact Body Shape.

Now perhaps the most important part of any MyPlayer build, and this is the attribute allocation menu, which is where you’ll be tasked with designating points towards your MyPlayer. As opposed to NBA 2K22, this time around, if you allocate points towards one stat, numerous others will go up in ranking due to the balancing work done this year.

So, here’s how you’ll want to distribute the points for this MyPlayer build:

If you copy this build, you should see a player comparison with shades of John Stockton and Mike Conley.

SF – LeBron James Build

Next, we’re going to highlight a build centered around mimicking one of the most prolific players within NBA history, and this, of course is LeBron James.

YouTuber Joe Knows posted this build, and each year LeBron builds are widely popular, sheerly due to the force you can have on the court. Not only will this build be able to shoot 3s, but it’ll also feature a towering presence on the court regarding your player’s height, weight, and ball-handling skills.

You will want to begin as a Small Forward and use the following body settings.

6’8”.

The build itself will be complete if you grade out to have shades of Mikal Bridges and Andrew Wiggins and be categorized as an Inside-Out Point Forward.

Center

Lastly, we’ll run over a Center build that’ll dominate the court. YouTuber AyCartii created this one, and it’ll have you dunking all over opponents and shooting 3s from deep.

While this is a Center build, you’re going to want to select PF as the position, mainly due to the number of attributes and badges you’ll be able to obtain.

As for body specifications, you’ll want to use the following.

6’9”.
229 lbs.
