BBC’s Naga Munchetty swipes ‘let it go’ as Al Murray brings up weight jibe | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV
Naga told viewers the upcoming dates for his shows, The Crown Jewels and Idiots Assemble: Spitting Image the Musical, and was shocked by how short each run was.
Al replied: “A short run yes unless lots of people want to go and they extend the run.
“I have lost weight by the way this time Naga, last time-”
Before Al could continue his story, Naga let out a loud groan as the guest burst into laughter.

She quipped: “Oh you know what. Right, look can I just put the record straight? There’s nothing to remember or forget.”
Confused over what was happening, her co-host Charlie Stayt asked Al whether or not he was offended by what Naga had once said to him.
Naga explained: “I was very complimentary about how well you looked. You (Charlie) made a thing of it and you (Al) haven’t let it go. Let it go!”
As Charlie tried to move on to the next segment, Al and Naga laughed at the light-hearted banter between them.
However, it wasn’t just Naga who was left flustered as Al also took aim at Charlie earlier on in the show.
Addressing Charlie, Al replied: “You pop it on, it’s probably like your wig.”
Naga and Al burst into laughter as she joked: “Now that takes ages in the morning to put on. But they fix it firmly so you can’t pull it.”
