With EA Play being offered as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions, EA’s releases have often found their way into the catalog of games offered by Microsoft’s subscription service not long after launch. Unsurprisingly, it seems two more of the company’s newer releases will be headed to the service soon enough.
Battlefield 2042 and FIFA 22 both seem to be on their way to Xbox Game Pass. Though an announcement hasn’t been made for either game, the Xbox Store pages for both sport Game Pass symbols. Of course, until such time an official announcement gets made, this should be taken with a grain of salt, but as mentioned earlier, thanks to EA Play being included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions, it wouldn’t be surprising in the least if this did ended up happening.
The question seems to be “when” rather than “if”, though there’s a chance that EA ends up making announcements regarding the same not long from now. Battlefield 2042 in particular, which is struggling and has been seeing constant dips in its increasingly disappointed player base, could really do with the boost that would surely come with availability on Game Pass.
Either way, we should hopefully know more soon enough, so stay tuned for more updates.
