The Sword Art Online franchise is celebrating its 10th anniversary of game projects, and Bandai Namco released a new promotional video and a commemorative logo to celebrate. The first SAO game to be released was Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment on March 14, 2023 for the PSP, with the latest game being Sword Art Online Last Recollection, set to release on October 6, 2023.

In addition, the official SAO games Twitter account shared a stream showcasing new content for existing and upcoming SAO games, such as the mobile game Sword Art Online: Integral Factor. The stream also featured the different editions that will be available for Sword Art Online Last Recollection.

Bandai Namco recently revealed a new weapon type in Sword Art Online Last Recollection: the scythe. Scythes will be swift weapons and are able to counter attacks.
Sword Art Online Last Recollection will come out on October 6, 2023 for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam. You can check out the new story and gameplay trailer for the game here.
