BG3 Suffers Inventory Management Issues with 7 Awards to Take Home
Baldur’s Gate 3 cleaned up at this year’s awards not only with Larian Studios gaining the Studio of the Year award but also Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design, Best Game Community, Best Lead Performer with the character Astarion played by Neil Newborn, PC Game of the Year and the Ultimate Game of the Year.
Sven Vincke the head of Larian Studios was seen grappling with several of the awards within his grasp, experiencing some real-life inventory management issues. Hopefully, his award stash has plenty of space as this might not be the only ones he’ll be accepting this year. The Game Awards will be taking place this December, and Geoff Keighley will be revealing the nominees this week. We’ll also be readying our list of Fexy awards, so if you have some recommendations let us know in our discord.
That was surreal. Thank you all! https://t.co/HeKjpXF2RE

Best of the Best – Winners
Other notable mentions are the Playstation Game of the Year which went to the Resident Evil 4 Remake. This title went through not only some graphics changes but got some great gameplay changes and was a pretty fun ride. For Xbox Game of the Year, that went unsurprisingly to Starfield, which was Bethesda’s foray into space. Spaceship building, shooter combat and more were all part of the Starfield experience. The best Nintendo game was of course the returning legend, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom which gave a part two to the franchise, but also mixed things up with new mechanics such as reversing time and travelling through ceilings.
