A new blog post by Ubisoft has confirmed that a crossover between Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Destiny 2 is officially set for December 6th. The collaboration between the two titles will bring Destiny 2-themed cosmetics to the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Assassin’s Creed-themed cosmetics to the world of Destiny 2.
According to Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players will be able to purchase a special Destiny 2-themed character pack, which includes new armor sets, swords, a scout skin, and a mount skin. A special weapon pack will also be made available for purchase, which will include four unique spins on Destiny’s iconic subclasses, each with their own gameplay perks and custom effects.
As for Destiny 2, players will be able to visit the in-game store to pick up a special Assassin’s Creed-themed ship, Sparrow, Ghost, and finisher cosmetics, as well as three new armor ornament sets.
Both titles will receive the new cosmetic items on December 6th, which also happens to be the same day Destiny 2 launches Season 19. The brand-new content update will include new weapon tuning, new artifact mods, and much more. As for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft recently released the game’s final major content update, The Last Chapter.
The final update was supposed to launch on December 6th but was accidentally deployed a week ahead of schedule. Ubisoft states that Valhalla’s final content update, which is completely free to all players, will “include some exciting new content for the game, including The Last Chapter, a touching and intimate conclusion to Eivor’s saga”.
Ubisoft goes on to state that the epilogue will tie up some of the storylines developed throughout the game and offer closure to players’ time among the Raven Clan. However, players will need to ensure they’ve followed a few steps before they can jump into The Last Chapter.
