10 Madoka Kaname
Madoka Kaname from Madoka Magica is a powerful magical girl who possesses the ability to grant wishes. Her wish-granting power is so strong that it can even overpower Superman. In the series, Madoka’s wish is revealed to be the power to rewrite the laws of the universe, allowing her to erase any event or being from existence. This power alone could easily defeat Superman, as it would allow Madoka to simply remove him from the equation entirely.
Additionally, Madoka’s ability to manipulate time and space could trap Superman in a time loop, making it impossible for him to escape. With the ability to erase memories and emotions, too, Madoka could neutralize Superman’s powers by removing his memories of (and perhaps his ability to command) his powers and abilities. Vegito is a fusion character from the anime series Dragon Ball Super, created through the Potara Earrings. He is the fusion of Goku and Vegeta, two of the strongest characters in the overarching series. In his Super Saiyan Blue form, Vegito is an incredibly daunting foe, and his fusion form is even stronger. He has enough power to easily defeat Superman.
Vegito’s Super Saiyan Blue form provides him with exceptional strength, speed and durability, surpassing both Goku and Vegeta. He has the capacity to wield intense energy attacks such as the Final Kamehameha, a powerful energy blast that could tear through The Man Of Steal. He also has the ability to use the Spirit Sword, an energy sword that can cut through anything, making it an effective weapon against Superman.
8 Majin Buu
Majin Buu is a villain from the anime series Dragon Ball Z. He is an unfathomably powerful magical being, who possesses so much more than mere brute strength. Madara Uchiha from the beloved anime series Naruto is a formidable match for Superman. Madara’s proficiency in the Six Paths Technique grants him access to a plethora of abilities, such as manipulating gravity, levitation, and manipulating the movements of others. This could be used to limit Superman’s mobility and control his movements in battle. Not many foes have been able to do that.

This form allows him to use the Tailed Beast Ball, a powerful energy blast that can destroy entire landscapes, making it an imposing weapon against Superman. Perhaps he’d be unable to withstand it.

Goku, iconic protagonist of the Dragon Ball franchise, presents a formidable challenge for Superman. His Ultra Instinct form, in particular, is perhaps the pinnacle of anime power. This form grants him incredible strength and speed, as well as the ability to instinctively sense and react to any attack without the need to think or strategize. This ability would give him an edge in a fight against Superman, as it would allow him to easily dodge and counter Superman’s attacks.
