From these videos, we can glean some important information surrounding the mechanics and inspirations of the game that will surely complement each other to create a satisfying mystery.
Set in 1970s Bordeaux, the game is beaming with character and vibrance. The most striking detail of Chronique des Silencieux is that it is completely hand-drawn, and you can see the effort and quality that has gone into every sprite, every UI, and every isometric room. Such care and devotion for a product always shine through, and it’s clear that their hard work has paid off.
When it comes to the actual gameplay of Chronique des Silencieux, we can look forward to critical thinking and thorough investigation. Being inspired by the likes of Papers Please, Detective Grimoire, and Ace Attorney, Pierre Feuille wanted to create a detective game that allows the players to draw their own connections and conclusions.
