You don’t have to look far to find a lot of reaction to the character of Chelsea Murphy (Viva Bianca) on ‘Neighbours’.
Fans are posting their own theories about how the dastardly character might leave the show and many of them are hoping that day comes sooner rather than later. We had theorised that Krista Sinclair (Majella Davis) might bring Chelsea down but with each episode that passes, it’s looking less and less likely that’s going to be the case (although it’s not impossible).

In today’s episode Chelsea continued to threaten Krista, scared that her secret affair with Jeffrey (Tim Potter) was going to be revealed to Paul (Stefan Dennis) and a confrontation ended up with an unconscious Krista. As a quick reminder, Krista caught Jeffrey in Chelsea’s room for a second time and confronted Chelsea about what was going on. In return, Chelsea threatened to take Krista down and destroy her life is she said anything to Paul causing Krista to break up with Leo (Tim Kano).
Surely time is running out for Chelsea? We’ve come up with three ways that she could finally be forced to pack her bags and leave Erinsborough…
1. Jeffrey gets tired of Chelsea’s games and makes their affair public
It’s become increasingly clear that Jeffrey is getting frustrated with Chelsea and he’s starting to release that their ‘affair’ is nothing more than her keeping him sweet so he doesn’t reveal the true findings of his sauna report. Jeffrey seems to think he’s in a loving relationship with Chelsea but Krista confronting the pair may have finally made him open his eyes. Could he share the real report and blow up Chelsea’s world? Bonus wish – Chelsea finds out she’s pregnant with Jeffrey’s baby!
2. Krista throws caution to the wind and reveals what Chelsea’s been up to
Krista has a lot to lose if she tells Paul what’s going on but she’s starting to put protections in place including breaking up with Leo so he doesn’t get dragged into the middle. While Chelsea does know about Krista’s relapse, we’re not sure that Krista is going to be swayed too much by that secret coming out now that she’s adamant Chelsea caused her to lose her baby. It would likely set back her burgeoning friendship with Paul but it would also show that she’s a decent person who wants to be better.
3. Terese and Paul find their way back to one another
Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) has been having dreams about Paul that she’s trying to dismiss but after seeing a counsellor, could she have a rethink? Toadie (Ryan Moloney) is back in the street this week so he and Terese are going to have to finally be honest with one another. Could it be that Terese realises that she never stopped loving Paul? If she ran back into his arms, that would leave Chelsea out in the cold with nowhere to go.
