22 Kids and Counting is back for another series on Channel 5 and it looks like viewers are in for plenty of drama with Britain’s biggest brood. The much-loved series will return for season three on Sunday night and a lot is going on from the very first episode as parents Sue and Noel Radford manage their 22 children.

Sue and Noel’s seventh daughter Millie, 22, became a mum herself for the third time, with cameras picking up the lead-up to her birth. In a preview from Sunday’s episode obtained by The Sun, Sue takes Millie to the hospital for a routine scan, but things soon take a turn for the worse when they realise something isn’t quite right with the baby.

The nurse realises the baby’s heart rate is faster than it should be, causing some concern. Millie is rushed to the hospital as she’s told she may need to undergo an emergency cesarean, rather than having a natural birth.

The show was recorded prior to Millie’s birth, and she actually welcomed her daughter Elodie last September. As well as having to contend with Millie’s birth drama, daughter Ellie, 18, tells Sue and Noel that her big sister Katie has secretly followed her boyfriend on a boy’s holiday to Zante.

Katie, 21, has been concerned about whether her boyfriend was staying loyal to her, so she sneaks away to the party island to find out for herself.

When Sue and Noel haven’t heard from their daughter for three days, the duo goes into panic mode and decides to fly out to Zante to find her.

The matriarch recently whisked her brood to Disneyland Paris as they rang in the New Year together.

The 48-year-old took to The Radford’s family Instagram page to treat her 518,000 followers to a glimpse of all of the fun.

Sue shared a series of stories on the account as the family watched an amazing fireworks display at the iconic Disney castle.

As large crowds of people gathered together for the epic event, the Channel 5 star wrote: “What an amazing atmosphere.”

In another story, her precious children were seen pretending to play instruments as they danced to the background music.

Alongside a video of the castle being lit up, a sentimental Sue said: “Bringing in the new year in the most magical place has just been amazing. We feel so incredibly lucky and thankful to be able to give our children these memories.”

22 Kids and Counting returns to Channel 5 at 8pm on Sunday.
