We all know how the saying goes, don’t we? “The more, the merrier.” This saying is also true when it comes to playing any game on Xbox. Whether it’s with friends, family, or at a party, there are a wide variety of party games that you can play that are guaranteed to put everyone in a good mood.
Despite how many controllers you may have, the games listed will be able to bring out tons of laughs, screams, and smiles from everyone in the room. Plus, you can always have a rotation system in place to make sure everyone’s involved.
10/10 Just Dance 2022
Music can always liven up any situation that you’ll find yourself in, so why not bring out Just Dance 2022? Before, you would have to use the Xbox Kinect in order to play, but now all you need is to download an app on your phone, and you’re ready to go.
The best thing about it is that regardless if you’re playing or not, anybody can get involved. There are a bunch of songs to choose from and a bit of everything for everyone to enjoy. DLC is also available if you want to add more songs to your musical arsenal.
9/10 Gang Beasts
Gang Beasts is a game that is all about beating up your opponents in a ragdoll fashion. The controls themselves are simple enough, but with the number of stages and hazards that are on them, it proves to be more difficult than it sounds. That being said, a lot of pretty fun and hilarious things can happen among friends.
In the heat of the moment, it can be hard trying to tell friends from foes amidst the chaos. It’s exciting trying to come out on top and surviving through all the different maps. Nothing but laughs will be had here.
8/10 Golf With Friends
Even if you don’t play golf in real life, you need no prior experience to enjoy Golf With Friends. The game’s title pretty much speaks for itself. However, it takes minigolf and adds an arcade spin on it, making it extremely challenging. In the process, it creates a competitive atmosphere with friends and foes alike.
Being able to make it to the hole with the fewest amount of shots isn’t an easy task and will have you screaming your head off — in a good way, of course. It’s frustratingly fun, making it a great party game.
7/10 Rocket League
Rocket League is what you would get if you combined soccer and hockey, but instead of people you had cars. The game itself is pretty simple to understand. There’s a ball in the middle of the arena, and you have to hit it into the enemy goal.
The exciting part is that you and the ball are constantly flying all over the place and crashing into each other in the process. There are tons of different game modes you can play, so the gameplay never gets stale.
6/10 Overcooked 2
Overcooked 2 will have you and your peers constantly screaming at each other as you try to run a successful restaurant. As you try to fix up different dishes for your customers, the pace will slowly pick up and get to the point where it’s hard to keep up and things become chaotic. This is what makes it fun, though.
Teamwork is needed here if you want to succeed. It’s even funnier when everyone tries to pin the blame on someone for failing a level. You can play with up to four players, so get everyone you can in on this chaotic fun mess of a game.
5/10 Among Us
Among Us is a game that needs no introduction as the murder mystery title has made waves in the gaming community for a few years now. With the title being released on Xbox, more people can get in on the fun. While it isn’t split-screen, the game is cross-play, meaning that anybody who owns the title on a mobile device can play with you.
If not, it’s still enjoyable to live through the suspenseful moments with your peers. Up to 15 people can play in a single lobby. Doing tasks while trying to find out who the imposter is has never been more anxiety-inducing.
4/10 Halo: Master Chief Collection
If you’re looking for a shooter that you can play among friends, Halo: Master Chief Collection is a perfect choice. The collection itself includes Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4. You can choose between this selection in terms of game modes, maps, and gameplay mechanics.
The best part about it is that it all can be played four-player split-screen. The series itself is enjoyable as you can get lost in the gameplay and just have a good time with friends. Just try not to get accused of screen peaking.
3/10 Castle Crashers Remastered
Castle Crashers has always been a classic beat-em-up title, so it’s no wonder that we saw Castle Crashers Remastered make an appearance. Not only that, but the remastered version includes upgraded visuals, all the DLC’s items and characters, and a new mini-game for you to enjoy.
The game itself is extremely fun among friends as you work together to rescue the princesses that have been captured across the map. However, things can get really competitive when trying to fight for a kiss from the princess when you save them. May the best knight win.
2/10 Fusion Frenzy
Some of you may be looking at this next title confused, but this list would be disappointing if Fusion Frenzy didn’t make the cut. Even though the Xbox Backwards Compatibility Program stopped adding games to the list, Fusion Frenzy is there for all to enjoy.
This classic party game is full of mini-games and has you competing with 3 other players to make it out on top. The games themselves are exciting and extremely competitive. Even though the game is years old, it still holds up being one of the best party games that Xbox has to offer.
1/10 Jackbox Party Packs
Every Xbox console should have at least one Jackbox Party Pack game installed on the system. The Jackbox series is notorious for having a wide variety of games ranging from mystery, action, or just letting your creative juices flow.
The best part about it is that there is no player limit since everybody in the room can get involved. The only thing you need to play is a mobile device, and you’re golden. If you want to spice up a party, you need to have a Jackbox game. Party Packs 1-9 are currently available on Xbox.
