Mob is considered one of the most overpowered Espers in all anime. Despite his inconspicuous looks, Shigeo possesses enough strength and power to level entire cities without breaking a sweat.
Nonetheless, outside his show, Mob is still sorely lacking the power necessary to defeat some of the strongest characters in anime. Despite his amazing abilities, many shows contain individuals who would not have an issue defeating Shigeo. Below, we will discuss some of these characters.

10 Yhwach – Bleach
The father of all Quincy, better known as the indomitable Yhwach, is without a doubt a fearsome opponent to face. Not only is he a skilled swordsman with centuries of experience, but he is also the wielder of the Almighty ability. This skill allows Yhwach to see all the possible futures that concern himself and his opponents, as well as modify the probabilities of an event occurring.
This means that if in one universe, his opponent dies from a heart attack, he makes his opponent suffer that fate in that instant. He would simply have to search for a universe in which Mob dies to create that reality during their fight.
9 Saitama – One Punch Man
After training for months to unlock his true potential, Saitama became the strongest hero in all of Japan. His training allowed him to completely remove the limiters placed on every human by God himself. Due to this, Saitama’s power has no bounds and keeps increasing every time he faces an opponent.
Most of the time, a single punch from the bald hero is enough to completely obliterate any enemy that dares to fight him. We have seen Saitama defeat several Espers with abilities similar to Shigeo’s many times before. No one yet has been capable of surpassing Saitama’s might, and it is unlikely that Mob would be the one to accomplish it.
8 Zeno – Dragon Ball Super
Shortly after the Gods of Destruction were introduced to the Dragon Ball universe, we also learned that these deities were all working for a supreme being called Zeno. Do not let his cute and small appearance deceive you, as the appropriately called Omni-King has more power than we can imagine.
With a single thought, Zeno is capable of completely erasing a being from existence, as if they have never been born in the first place. He can do the same with entire galaxies, timelines, and universes. No one can hide or evade Zeno’s power, not even an Esper as powerful as Mob.
7 Naruto Uzumaki – Naruto
Besides being the savior of the Shinobi World, Naruto Uzumaki is also one of the strongest ninjas to have ever lived. His Uzumaki blood grants him an augmented life force, as well as a massive Chakra reserve. These traits are only amplified by his tenant and companion, Kurama, also known as the Nine-Tails Fox.
While the blonde ninja struggled as a youngster with his abilities, he grew up into a skilled fighter capable of taking down legendary opponents without any help. Mob’s abilities may be powerful enough to destroy cities, but Naruto’s power can easily obliterate entire countries.
6 Haruhi Suzumiya – The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya
During Mob Psycho 100, we see how Shigeo struggles to control his powers from time to time. Still, he is completely aware of them and can use them at will. The same cannot be said for Haruhi Suzumiya, a girl with the power to warp reality without realizing it.
Haruhi was born with the power to change reality into what she wishes for, even though she never notices the changes. It is due to this power that time travelers, Espers, and even aliens have become real. Even if she is not aware of her power, she could still warp reality to make Mob lose their encounter subconsciously.
5 Usagi Tsukino – Sailor Moon
Otherwise known as the fashionable and iconic Sailor Moon, Usagi is one of the most deceptively powerful characters in anime. In reality, Usagi is the reincarnation of Princess Serenity, making her the rightful heir to the Moon Kingdom and guardian of the universe.
Even though she looks like a frail and normal student, the Silver Crystal given to her by Luna helped her access her dormant powers. These abilities include moving faster than light, almost impenetrable defenses, mastery over reality, and even time travel. With so many skills on Usagi’s side, Mob would not come victorious out of this fight.
4 Anos Voldigoad – The Misfit Of Demon King Academy
Being the most powerful being in all the world became boresome and annoying for the Demon King Anos. To escape that torment, he decided to send his consciousness and powers to the future, inhabiting one of his descendants.
That is how the once-feared Demon King became a student at a magical academy, becoming a misfit and the most powerful student in school. Anos usually keeps his power in check by using just a small amount of it. If he were to unleash his real power, the entire world would be destroyed. Unfortunately for Shigeo, none of his Esper abilities qualify him as an adversary for such a destructive force.
3 Shanks – One Piece
The world of One Piece is full of mysterious and enigmatic characters about whom we have almost no information. One of these individuals is the Red-Hair Pirates’ Captain, the legendary Shanks. Although his real power is yet to be seen, the small glimpses that have been witnessed in the show foretell a massive and neigh-unbeatable strength.
His Conqueror Haki is so strong that even Marine Admirals cower in fear once they feel it. He is also a master of both Armament and Observation Haki. If these abilities are not enough to defeat Mob, Shanks can make use of his mastery of swordsmanship, as well as his superhuman speed and strength.
2 Izuku Midoriya – My Hero Academia
One faithful encounter with his childhood hero was everything Izuku Midoriya needed to go from a Quirkless child to the worthy heir of the Symbol Of Peace’s legacy. After proving himself worthy of being All Might’s successor, Deku inherited his power, One For All.
Inside this unique ability reside 6 other Quirks, and Izuku is capable of utilizing all of them. Thanks to this power, Deku can fly, shoot tendrils that act as webs from his arms, detect danger around him, and access a pool of 9 generations of both strength and stamina. Deku has everything he needs to defeat Shigeo in one-on-one combat.
1 Gojo Satoru – Jujutsu Kaisen
Gojo is not only one of the best teachers at Jujutsu Academy but also the most powerful sorcerer in the entire world. Gojo is a descendant of one of the most prominent sorcerer families in the show, which means he has access to exclusive abilities.
His Domain Expansion is called Unlimited Void, a nigh-infinite space that overwhelms the opponent with stimuli, rendering them helpless to any attack. Despite Shigeo’s powerful Esper abilities, it is almost impossible for him to escape Gojo’s overwhelming might.
