Wuthering Waves Secret Investigation quest guide: All answers, explained

Southwest of Jinzhou is where you’ll pick up the Secret Investigation quest in Wuthering Waves, but to start it, you’ll need to get some questions right. I’ll review all the answers to the Secret Investigation quest questions in Wuthering Waves.

Wuthering Waves: All answers in Secret Investigation quest

Upon picking up this quest to go undercover, you’ll first need to collect Exiles’ gear, which is easily done by going to the three waypoints, then discuss your plan with Qianshan. You must learn your fake identity, and Qianshan will test you with three questions. If you’re worried about messing up, we’ve got you covered. Here are the answers to all three questions in the Secret Investigation quest.

• Question 1: What did the mother of Qiao Sheng and Qiao Yang do for a living?
• Question 2: What was the reason for the injury of Qiao Sheng’s right leg?
  • Answer: Attempted shoplifting
• Question 3: What does Kuixiao, a friend of Qiao Sheng’s at the camp like doing?
  • Answer: Studying technologies

Once you answer all three questions correctly you must pass the time until the next day to go undercover. You’ll then infiltrate the camp and head to the upper level where you’ll meet Kuixiao. Luckily, Wuthering Waves allows you to skip dialogue if you want to get through this quest quickly.

While I thought there might be some wrong dialogue choices when infiltrating the camp and talking to Kuixiao, it appears you can choose anything and get away just fine. It’s the same with the questions Qianshan asks (and the Scar answers), too. Here’s what to say to Kuixiao:

• Zaijia just said he needed your help on something.
• (Wait for Qianshan’s response)

Once Kuixiao leaves, you’re free to continue your investigation, leading you to the camp’s lower level. The end of the quest consists of you distracting the Exile to check the Terminal, which then leads you into combat against them. Report back to Qianshen, and you’ll complete the quest, earning these rewards:

• x500 Union EXP
• x40 Astrite
• x24,000 Shell Credit
• x2 Advanced Resonance Potion
• x1 Advanced Sealed Tube

With that quest out of the way, you can complete another quest called “We Promise, We Deliver” if you want to receive a free Dauntless Evernight Broadblade.
