Will you make the right choices in teen-horror The Quarry? – Destructoid

Or just Supermassive mistakes?

2K Games has released an overview trailer giving us a look at its incoming cinematic horror title, The Quarry. The creepy-looking teen adventure is edging ever closer to its June 10 release date, when it will bring a suspiciously familiar tale of camp counselors in peril to PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms.

Developed by the horror maestros at Supermassive Games, (Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology), The Quarry will once again task players with guiding a party of hapless heroes as they attempt to survive a night of fright in a deserted patch of woodland known as “Hackett’s Quarry”. Stalked and hunted by a sinister, bloodthirsty force, it will be up to you to make the kids’ choices for them, in a branching narrative path that will decide each character’s ultimate fate.

2K Games is shining a light on the “Hollywood” quality of The Quarry, which uses cutting-edge facial capture and “filmic lighting technology” to present a quality movie-like experience. In addition, The Quarry boasts a recognizable cast of stars including David Arquette (Scream), Ariel Winter (Modern Family), Justice Smith (Jurassic World), Brenda Song (Dollface), Lance Henriksen (Aliens), Lin Shaye (A Nightmare on Elm Street), and more.

The Quarry launches on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms June 10.
