Wild Hearts Will Add The Spinning Top Karakuri To Amp Up Player Arsenals

Wild Hearts has shown off the next Kemono that players will get the chance to hunt, the Murakumo, a giant pink creature that’s part fox, part cherry blossom tree, as well the next Karakuri, the Spinning Top, both of which will be added in Wild Hearts’ upcoming free update, Lethal Blossoms, set to launch on April 6.

As the developers over at Omega Force promised, they have continued to support Wild Hearts with free content updates following its February 17 launch. Last week’s update (March 23) added the Grimstalker, a wolf-like creature that could control both fire and water, and before that came Hellfire Laharback.

The Murakumo may be the most pettable-looking Kemono yet, but it’s clearly no less dangerous. As per the official Wild Hearts news post, it can control cherry blossom petals, creating devastating tornados and flurries to attack its opponents and can even course through the air “on platforms made of Sakura blossoms.” But, with the new Kemono comes a new Karakuri to help defeat it.

The Spinning Top is exactly what it sounds like. It functions as a projectile players can shoot toward their enemies, and, as seen in the trailer, the more objects and enemies it collides with the stronger its next hit becomes. If it has built up enough speed and power, it can even stagger Kemono. It’s specifically useful against the Murakumo, as it can disperse the petal tornado this Kemono can channel.

This update will also bring in new limit breaking weapons and armor. By using Core Orbs, which can mainly be obtained by felling Volatle Kemono, players can further enhance their weapons and armor with different effects. These effects vary depending on each piece of equipment.

The end of the Lethal Blossoms trailer teases the next upcoming Kemono, the Deathhaze Gloombeak, which is set to launch in the following free update, already confirmed for April 20. This future update will also bring in a new type of special quest called Serial Hunts, where players will try to hunt as many Kemono as possible before being defeated.
