Wild Hearts To Address CPU Bottleneck Issue And Add DLSS In Future Updates
PC players have been having a rough time with the game.
Wild Hearts will be receiving a patch next week to address CPU bottlenecking on “mid to high-end” CPUs, according to a statement from developer Omega Force.
Although Wild Hearts will be officially released later today, some players have already dived in with EA Play’s 10-hour trial. However, PC players are reporting unpleasant experiences with the game struggling to run smoothly even on high-powered systems.
“Omega Force is working continuously to improve performance and optimise the game for a wide variety of hardware specs across future updates,” reads the statement. “We have a patch coming next week that addresses a CPU bottleneck problem the team discovered; this should improve performance across mid-high end CPU’s.”
Omega Force has also promised to deliver DLSS and FSR support for NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards in the future.
Omega Force has asked players dealing with performance issues to submit a dxdiag file via this link if the game doesn’t run as intended on a system better than the recommended one. That being said, you will eventually need to wait until next week’s patch arrives to hopefully get rid of the issue.
Wild Hearts is a Monster Hunter-inspired experience, allowing players to team up with a couple of friends and go hunting for giant creatures in Azuma, a world where nature-infused creatures can only be defeated by master hunters.
The unique selling point of Wild Hearts is its Karakuri, an ancient technology that allows hunters to build various structures and vehicles in the midst of battle. These can serve a variety of purposes, be it jumping over giants to deal heavy damage or traversing long distances.
Besides the PC version, Wild Hearts will also launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
