Diablo IV Early Access is now available on all platforms, but server technical issues are already stopping players from opening the gates of Hell. If you’re wondering “why am I having Diablo IV login issues during Early Access?” you’re not alone.
Players are reporting multiple issues and error codes across platforms but the PlayStation 5 player base seems to be the main affected party. You may get an error such as 315306: “No License Found.” According to Blizzard’s support team, you should first try restarting Battle.net or your console. The reasoning is that the application was signed in before the Diablo IV servers went live, causing the error.
If you continue to experience issues such as an error related to “too many requests,” there’s nothing you can do about that one yet aside from refreshing the queue or wait on a wider fix.
According to the Blizzard customer support team, the “Devs are looking into this as the issue’s more widespread than anticipated.” For now, players should keep trying every 15 minutes or so to see if the issue auto-resolves.
This is understandably an unsatisfactory answer for those who preordered to get Early Access and begin progressing their characters. Particularly in regards to the recent challenge Blizzard put out regarding reaching max rank to be recognized by Blizzard. These server issues will give those few players that got in an unfair head start.
You can track all major issues and fixes on the Blizzard Support Forums Main Thread for Diablo IV. There’s also the official Blizzard Customer Support Twitter account, though the forums seem to be more up-to-date at the moment.
In the meantime, you can at least do a little prep to make sure you’re ready to play once the issues clear up.
