Personality

On the surface, Enid appears to be nothing more than a superficial, bubbly blonde stereotype. She’s quick to interact with her classmates and tries to make everyone into a friend with a warm smile. Bright colors are part of her self-expression, which she displays in any shade she can acquire. She also likes to keep her ear out for the latest gossip. Enid almost always knows what’s going on in the school and what the drama is.

Despite seeming perky at all times, Enid does have an issue with her own confidence. She can be shy and timid about how others people perceive her. This is seen in particular with her romantic side and her relationship with her family. As a late bloomer in her household, Enid has a lot of fears about the future and where she will fit in if certain things don’t change. She is better at standing up for herself and others as the series progresses but still has an occasional moment of self-doubt.

Enid is loyal but takes large strides to not be anyone’s doormat. She stands up against her mother’s nitpicking despite having fears about things her mother also expresses concerns about. Enid calls Wednesday out on some of the more dangerous and faulty things Wednesday does. Enid makes sure that everyone can be heard in a situation even when she herself might not have been previously.

Powers

Wednesday - After the Poe race-1

Enid Sinclair is the only girl in her family of werewolves. Her main power throughout the series is her claw extensions. When angered or just in a situation where her emotions run high, all of the nails on her hands will grow and turn into claws. These claws are not to be trifled with as they are strong and can slice through other beings, wood, and even metal. Enid’s claws aren’t the only skill she has, though. She also has a great deal of strength, speed, and agility in her despite not having ‘wolfed-out’ yet.

By the end of the first season, Enid does finally gain her werewolf form. This is brought on during a full-blood moon in the climax of the series. In this form, Enid has increased strength, faster movements, and quicker reflexes to handle the fight in front of her. She also grows taller than her normal self, and she gains the typical werewolf form — hair and fur coating all over with a wolf-like face.

Upon ‘wolfing-out’, Enid gains the ability to shape-shift going forward during a full moon like the rest of her pack. Her strength, agility, and speed will also continue to grow as her powers blossom. Her already strong ‘daily’ claws also remain stronger. But when Enid can already slice through a metal bus, how much more strength do her nails really need? Enid appears to be somewhat stronger than other werewolves as she squares off against a Hyde, which is known for its strength and ability to kill other outcasts.

Relationships

Wednesday - Enid and Lucas at the dance-1

Enid has a large crush on her Gorgon classmate – Ajax. He doesn’t always pick up on the indirect things Enid does to get his attention, so she has to muster up the courage to be direct and confront him. They end up dating by the end of the season.

Wednesday is a peculiar child and someone that few people can tolerate let-a-lone become friends with. Enid never shies away from trying to be friendly with Wednesday and enters into a good rhythm as roommates and friends. Enid definitely puts more outward effort into the relationship but can see and acknowledge the work Wednesday puts in as well.

Enid and her parents have a strained relationship. With her being a ‘late-bloomer’ as far as showing her werewolf form, her parents take great concern with it. Particularly Enid’s mother. She brings up some summer camps Enid can attend to help her gain her werewolf form, but Enid’s father doesn’t seem to share the same concerns. He remains mostly quiet while sharing a sweet moment with his daughter in support of her decision not to attend the summer camps.

Other people that Enid interacts with are a classmate named Yoko, that she has a close friendship, and the school queen bee – Bianca. The latter starts out more as a rival. Eventually, Bianca and Enid become friendly toward each other. She also makes a normie friends with the Mayor’s son – Lucas. This is short-lived when he ends up betraying Enid’s trust in him.
