Where to pre-order Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit

Heads up, Chooms! The Cyberpunk Edgerunners Mission Kit, the next expansion for Cyberpunk Red, is now available to pre-order. The expansion, inspired by the popular anime, is set to launch on June 24, and can be reserved as either a $14.99 PDF from DriveThruRPG or Roll20 digital kit, or a $34.99 physical release pre-order from R. Talsorian Games.

The Mission Kit includes the Edgerunners Handbook, a lore book detailing the history of Night City, and biographies of the original Edgerunner crew from the anime. You’ll also find an abridged Rulebook and quickstart guide in addition to The Jacket, a one-shot adventure designed to get your crew right into the action.

Both versions of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit include everything you need to play, including tokens and maps; however, the physical version also comes with a collection of six Edgerunners-themed dice, in addition to printed standees, maps, and tokens to supplement gameplay.

While the Edgerunners rulebook contains everything you need to make your own characters, the Mission Kit also includes a collection of seven eclectic, pre-generated Edgerunners, complete with full illustrations by Hiroyuki Imaishi, director for the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime.

If you aren’t familiar with the lore and setting surrounding Mike Pondsmith’s Cyberpunk franchise, the Edgerunners Mission Kit has everything to get you up to speed as quickly as possible. But, if you’d prefer a more thorough introduction to the neon lights of Night City, the core rulebook for Cyberpunk Red is also available as a PDF or hardcover purchase, and contains more than you could ever want to know about the dystopian cityscape. A virtual tabletop version of the rulebook is also available from Roll20.
