Baldur’s Gate 3 has a lot of different character options for you to choose to build your character with. Thanks to the game using the Dungeons & Dragons systems, you can build your character in a multitude of ways from classes all the way down to which weapons and feats you shall use which alter your playstyle quite dramatically. Therefore, it’s pretty important to be able to get yourself some good weapons early on into the game to be able to take full advantage of this fact and get the best out of your party. The Knife of the Undermountain King is one of the better early game weapons for sword users. Here’s our guide on where to get the Knife of the Undermountain King in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Where to get the Knife of the Undermountain King in Baldur’s Gate 3

To get yourself the Knife of the Undermountain King in Baldur’s Gate 3, the first thing you’re going to need to do is progress the game until you reach the Githyanki Creche Y’llek on the mountain pass. This is the location where you can find the Knife of the Undermountain King. Once you reach the Creche, by going through the secret entrance to the locked building around the side of the cliff, you’re going to want to progress inwards and get through the conversation needed to get inside the Creche by either letting Lae’zel converse with the guards or passing the checks needed.

After you have access to the Creche, you can continue inwards until you reach the waypoint for this area. Once you reach the waypoint for the area, you’re going to want to take a right, head through a door, and then continue until you see an individual with the name A’jak’nir Jeera, who is the trader for the Creche. She is the person who can sell you the Knife of the Undermountain King in Baldur’s Gate 3. You can buy it off her here, or you can actually pickpocket her for it as well, but pickpocketing is a tricky thing to pull off in Baldur’s Gate 3, so I recommend just buying it if you have enough Gold.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for purchase on Steam.
