Where to find Zant’s Helmet in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess gave us a strange and cool villain with Zant. And his presence lives on in Tears of the Kingdom thanks to the fact that his Helmet can be found. It’s not the easiest of the classic armor pieces to find though. In fact, you’ll have to brave the fiery section of the Depths to acquire it. But if you want to get Zant’s Helmet in Tears of the Kingdom, this is how you do it.

Tears of the Kingdom: Where to find Zant’s Helmet

First things first, before we go off to find Zant’s Helmet you’ll need the full set of Flamebreaker armor. We’re heading over to the Death Mountain region of the Depths. That means it’s going to be very hot and the Flamebreaker armor is the easiest way to shrug the heat off. So make sure you grab that before moving on.

Once you can handle the heat, we’re ready to go after Zant’s Helmet in Tears of the Kingdom. We need to go over to the Scorching Coliseum and you can check its exact location on the map above. It’s fairly easy to reach once you’ve got the appropriate protection. And the easiest way to get here is directly down the Death Mountain Chasm then heading northwest. Like other Coliseums in the Depths, you’ll need to fight off a group of enemies to earn the reward. Luckily you’ll only be fighting several tiers of Moblin. These enemies can pack a punch, but good armor and weapons along with plenty of healing items can make quick work of them.

The chest we’re after is hard to miss once you get to the Scorching Coliseum. It’s located right in the center of the massive room. But you’ll need to take out every Moblin in this area before you can open it. Once that’s done, you can open the chest to receive the reward we’re after. Zant’s Helmet is one of the easier armor pieces to unlock at the Coliseums in the Depths, but it’s hard to be upset about that. Zant’s Helmet also comes with a nice ability called “Unfreezable” which, funnily enough, makes Link immune to freeze attacks. This would be particularly useful against bosses like the Frost Gleeok. Just for that, Zant’s Helmet is worth getting as soon as you can in Tears of the Kingdom.
