Chapter 5 Season 3 of Fortnite is finally here, after much speculation and rumour. Despite it not including a Mad Max crossover, there are a ton of Fallout crossover items and skins, including the iconic Nuka-Cola drink from the franchise.
Just as it quenches your thirst in the Fallout universe, drinking Nuka-Cola will restore approximately 25 health instantly in a match and then restore 75 shields over time, provided you don’t take damage. So, it makes it a pretty unique healing item compared to the others on offer in the game. Here is where you can find it in matches.
Nuka-Cola bottles in Fortnite can be found in boxes, chests, and locations throughout the map at random points in each match. You don’t have to do anything specific to get them, just get lucky when opening chests and boxes to find items to use in your battle royale match.
Nuka-Cola bottles are of an epic rarity, so they won’t be super common in matches. But they are one of the more useful items, especially as a replacement for healing items that focus solely on restoring your shield or a small amount of health equal to what the Nuka Cola bottles restore.
Nuka-Cola is one of several new items added to the game with Chapter 5 Season 3. The others include the Kind Cacti, new medallions you can pick up to gain powerful armoured suits, and an explosive crossbow. Overall, it is a pretty chaotic and action-packed season.
Additionally, Epic Games has removed a weapon from the game, the Chains of Hades, as Doja Cat has been ranting about them recently. It is unknown when the weapon will return, however, we’d be surprised if it never comes back to the game.
