When you drop into the world of Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 3 for the first time, you’ll notice a huge new biome on the map around where Zero Point once stood. In the ruins of the battle between the IO and the resistance, the Reality Tree has grown and can be seen for miles around. This new biome is full of pretty sights, strange points of interest, and rare loot.
The first set of weekly challenges for this season requires you to plant something called a Reality Sapling, and you’d be forgiven for having no idea what that means. That’s why we’re here to explain how to find a Reality Seed, how to pant it for a sapling, and what you get for doing so.
Reality Seed locations in Fortnite
Before you can grow your sapling, you need to find a seed, and they’re thankfully quite easy to find. As you may expect, you’ll need to look around the Reality Tree for bulbs that sit on roots or on the ground, breaking one open will cause seeds to burst out, and you can gather as many as you can get your hands on. These items are in high demand at the moment though, so you’re going to have to watch your back while in the zone.
How to plant a Reality Sapling
Once you have your seed, all you need to do is throw it and wherever it lands a sapling will grow. It’s really that simple. However, it doesn’t grow to its full potential straight away, to see that you’ll need to come back in a future game. Once a sapling is fully grown, it will drop little pods to the ground, you can bust these open for rare weapons, making them a great place to drop at the start of a match.
