Where To Buy Smithing Stone 3 & 4
Wondering where you can get Smithing Stone 3 and 4 in Elden Ring? Well, here’s a nifty guide to help you buy these in the game.
Smithing Stones are essential if you want to keep your weapons in their best shape to take down the tough enemies and bosses of Elden Ring. Finding Smithing Stones in the Lands Between can be a haphazard and laborious process, so the quickest way by far is to buy them.
Unlike Smithing Stones 1 and 2, there are no merchants that naturally sell stones 3 and 4. However, you can once again unlock the ability to buy these from the Twin Maidens in Roundtable Hold. In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to unlock their stock.
Finding Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing 2
To get the Twin Maiden Husks to sell you Smithing Stones 3 and 4, you need to present them with the Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell-Bearing 2. This item is located in the Sealed Cave in the Capital Outskirts of Altus Plateau. If you’ve not been here before, the closest Site Of Grace is the Outer Wall Phantom Tree. You can ride from here down the slope to the moat, past the Land Squirts, to where you will find the cave entrance in the South-West Corner.
Exploring The Sealed Cave
When you initially enter the Sealed Cave, you will find only the Site Of Grace in a room with no exits. The entrance to the cave proper is located behind an illusory wall on the west side. Hit this, and you will be able to proceed inside, where you will come out onto a wooden platform in a wider cave.
Head right here and defeat the Miner, then head down and break through the barrels and cart blocking the right path. There will be a Vulgar Militiaman just beyond this point on the left. Defeat this, and then turn right, and you will see a chest. Open this to obtain the Bell Bearing.
Now, you can return to Roundtable Hold and give this to the Twin Maiden Husks to purchase Smithing Stones 3 and 4 for 600 and 900 Runes, respectively, and allowing you to upgrade your weapons to +9 and +12.
