Genshin Impact’s version 4.6 is coming soon, bringing new characters and story with it. For those who have been eagerly waiting for Arlecchino’s arrival, your time is now. The Pyro polearm-user will be available at the start of the patch.
Below, we explain when Genshin Impact maintenance starts and ends, alongside the release time of version 4.6. We’ve also added some details about what to expect from Genshin Impact version 4.6.
Genshin Impact will go down for maintenance for approximately five hours on Tuesday, April 23, or Wednesday, April 24 (depending on your time zone), at the following times:
Make sure to burn your resin before maintenance starts, if you wanted to.
Genshin Impact should come back from maintenance with the 4.6 version at the following times:
The servers may come up early or late, depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times 4.6 should go live. Usually Hoyoverse is pretty good by abiding by maintenance times. We don’t usually get extended maintenance, but it does end early sometimes!
The crown jewel of this event is the launch of Arlecchino, a Pyro user who wields a polearm that actually has a scythe-like aesthetic. We’ll also return to Sumeru for some kind of story revolving around Cyno and another new character. There’s some conflict going on with Freminet, Lyney, and Lynette, but we’ll have to play the patch to see what kind of strife Arlecchino is putting these siblings through.
On the complete flip side, the flagship event for this patch seems to revolve around Arataki Itto, with plenty of minigames. The rhythm game will make its return with a French horn as the instrument, and you’ll be able to earn a free copy of the four-star character Gorou for completing the event. Several other events will also take place throughout the patch, like Windtrace (the hide and seek prop hunt game).
