Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 end date and time and Chapter 5 Season 1 start date and time
Before we dive in, we honestly don’t know if the next season will be Chapter 4 Season 4, Chapter 5 Season 1, or something else entirely. Epic Games has some big plans for the next season, but I’ve heard talk that it could be an in-between season that is a lot shorter and doesn’t even get a proper name. We’ll have to wait to hear the official word from Epic Games, but for now, here’s what we know.
Based on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass timer which has been accurate in predicting the end and start of seasons in the past, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 ends on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 2:00 a.m. ET.
After some maintenance downtime, that would mean Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 (which may be Chapter 4 Season 5 or something else entirely) will start sometime on Friday, November 3, 2023.
Will Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 feature the old map?
What we know so far is that the season after Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is going to be a smaller season that features the OG Chapter 1 map. In my research, I’ve found that it’s possible we may get the Fortnite Chapter 1 Seasons 1 through 10 maps as we progress each week. This means that upon every weekly reset, we’ll experience the next Chapter 1 season’s map.
After this in-between Fortnite season is over, Fortnite Chapter 5 will begin and introduce a brand new map for us all to enjoy.
