It felt like this would never happen, but it seems like we are closer than ever before to a full PvZ3 release after many years of development. Today, EA and PoCap have announced that Plants vs Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia is available in soft launch in select regions with a near final build, and also confirmed that the worldwide launch will be later this year. Plants vs Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia adds puzzle adventure elements, new Plants, new Decor, story content, and more. In addition to the usual battles, Plants vs Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia will feature an episodic narrative going one neighborhood at a time. The soft launch now available is for EA to get player feedback to improve it for the final release. Check out a gameplay screenshot from Plants vs Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia below:
The soft launch version of Plants vs Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia is rolling out now in United Kingdom, Netherlands, Australia and Philippines. EA confirmed that Plants vs Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia will feature optional in app purchases as expected.
