Watch it here in your time zone

We already know that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are launching later this year, but we’re still a bit hazy on the details. Will this game focus on multiplayer as a counterpoint to Legends: Arceus’ solo-focused story? And how will those new starters look once they’ve evovled? Not hideous, we hope.

All of these questions and more are still to be answered, and that’s exactly why we’re all so excited about August’s Pokémon Presents livestream. We can rest assured that we’ll see some brand new footage from Scarlet and Violet, but what other Pokémon games or products will be showcased is a mystery.

Pokémon is one of the largest and most profitable franchises in the world, and makes the Nintendo Switch an essential console for many fans. In this guide we’ll be running through where and when you can watch the Pokémon Presents livestream today, on August 3.

August 3 Pokémon Presents livestream links

As usual with Pokémon Presents and Nintendo Direct livestreams, you’ll be able to view this one on YouTube using either the embed above, or live on Twitch if that’s your streaming platform of choice.

A quick tip for YouTube users is that you can actually change the playback speed to 2x in the video settings, and this will catch you up to the most recent part of the livestream, even beyond what the playback bar at the bottom will allow you to view. A nice way to get ahead of those Twitter spoilers.
