Warzone 2 Resurgence Map Could Be Part Of Season 2 Content
Some sources say Resurgence should be around soon!
As reported by Insider Gaming, two sources familiar with the matter confirmed that the upcoming Resurgence map to Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 will be available when Season 2 launches in 2023, however, the source claims they still need more confirmation on this.
There is no doubt that when Rebirth Island arrived at Call of Duty Warzone, it felt like a much-needed refresh for the free-to-play hit at the time. Well, the same thing is expected to happen for Warzone 2.0 sooner or later, but some believe the Resurgence map should be around as soon as the game’s next season.
Regarding the fact that we are not far away from the launch of Warzone 2.0 Season 2, the official news about a new Resurgence map should appear soon if we are about to get it in Season 2. Aside from its anonymous sources, Insider Gaming also refers to previous leaks of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 content road map, featuring Call of Duty World At War’s Castle map. Some fans do believe that Castle will be a part of the Resurgence map in Warzone 2.0. Aside from that, the leak revealed that Ronin will be returning to the series after appearing in Call of Duty Modern Warfare back in 2019.
Also, some players have already discovered an island far away from Al Mazrah that can be spotted when you drop into the new Warzone 2.0 Battle Royale map. People believe that the remote island should be a hint at the upcoming Resurgence map, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 recently received its Season 1 Reloaded content, which means there is nothing left from Season 1 to be added to the game, and players should get ready for the beginning of a new season with a new Battle Pass. The current Battle Pass timer marks the 1st of February 2023 as the day that it will expire. So, we can assume that Season 2 will be around as soon as we step into February this year, which means the official news about the new season should be shared later this month.
