Warzone 2 DMZ: The Route Forward Guide

Warzone 2 DMZ Season 2 features many returning Faction Missions from the previous season. For instance, we have missions such as Good Fortune and Return To Sender making their second debut, both of which will have players repeating the exact same tasks as before. Another returning mission is The Route Forward, one which can be quite a pain to complete.

The Route Forward is a Tier 4 mission for the White Lotus faction, and is 1 of 6 missions that can be completed to unlock the Tier 4 Story Mission: Toxin Research. The Route Forward is broken into three steps: loot 7 tracking devices from the Al-Sharim Pass Dead Drop, plant the 7 tracking devices on the AQ trucks at Sattiq Caves in the same deployment, and then download the data from the server rack in the Sattiq Caves bunker. You will be rewarded with a contraband RAAL MG and 15,000 XP upon completion.

Looting 7 Tracking Devices From The Al-Sharim Pass Dead Drop

The first and second objectives of this mission are quite similar to that of the Faction Mission: Train Tracks – only this time you will need to loot 7 tracking devices from the Dead Drop in Al-Sharim Pass. The Dead Drop in question sits on the southeast side of Al-Sharim Pass, right between two buildings on the hillside of this location.

Simply open up the dumpster and take out all 7 tracking devices to complete the first objective.

Planting 7 Tracking Devices On The AQ Trucks At Sattiq Caves

Now that you have the tracking devices, you will need to plant them onto 7 AQ trucking over at Sattiq Caves – all within the same deployment you found the tracking devices in. Although this sounds simple enough, the trucks you are looking for are quite spread out around this location. The first AQ truck sits above the riverside caves over at Sattiq Caves – more specifically near the opening that leads to the caves below. Place the first tracker onto the truck to secure mission progress.

The next two AQ trucks are located within the riverside caves, directly below the first one – and so you can descend from the opening in order to get to them. Simply plant 2 tracking devices on each and then progress to the next set of trucks.

The locations of the next 3 trucks are quite close together, so you should not have too much trouble locating them. In order to get to them safely, we recommend heading up the zipline in the center of the riverside caves and progressing over to the Upper Caverns (which will be marked on your tac map). The first 2 trucks can be found on the left-hand side of the main entrance to the Upper Caverns.

Once you have placed the tracking devices on the 2 trucks at the front entrance of the Upper Caverns, continue pushing upwards. At some point, you will find that the cave begins to wind to the left. Here is where you will find a single AQ truck on the left-hand side of the cavern.

The final AQ truck is located outside the Upper Caverns, parked adjacent to the rear entrance. Simply place the final tracker onto the truck to wrap up the second stage of this mission

Downloading The Data From The Server Rack In The Sattiq Caves Bunker

The third objective requires you to download the data from the server rack within the Sattiq Caves bunker. Unlike the previous objective, this does not need to be done within the same deployment as the first. The Sattiq Caves bunker can be found directly by the crashed plane in this area. Simply head into the bunker, and you will immediately come across a server rack. Interacting with the server rack will download the data, thus completing the final part of this mission.
