Walter Presents: ‘Presumed Guilty’ to launch on Channel 4 this month

Walter Presents is bringing French thriller ‘Presumed Guilty’ to C4 Streaming and Channel 4 this week.

The series stars Garance Thénault, Pierre-Yves Bon and Jérôme Anger, and is created by Grégory Ecale and Franck Ollivier.

In this mysterious new series, a young woman named Lola is invited for a job interview at a hotel in a picturesque town on the coast of France, but when she shows up for her interview it turns out that it was never scheduled. Things take an odd turn when Lola notices that people keep staring at her. Eerier still, the local papers feature a story which will change Lola’s life forever. Exactly twenty-five years ago to-the-day, a woman who looked exactly like her was murdered in that very town which shook the whole community. Lola arrived full of hopes, but this bizarre coincidence has now left her with a plethora of questions.

Fearing that her life may be in danger, Lola is determined to find out why she has been lured to this town and who was murdered all those years ago. Most of all she needs to discover who is responsible for the murder before they strike again.

‘Presumed Guilty’ is the perfect French thriller, elegantly shot with a surprise twisted plot that will keep you gripped. Will Lola uncover the truth before the killer can stop her?  

Walter Presents: ‘Presumed Guilty’ will launch on Channel 4 at 11pm on Sunday 10th December 2023. The full boxset will be released on C4 Streaming on Friday 8th December.
