Valkyrie Elysium is one of the anticipated launches from Square Enix for this year, and hopefully, the game is less than 24 hours away from its worldwide release on PS4 and PS5 consoles.
According to its official PlayStation Store page, Valkyrie Elysium will be available on September 29 for PS4 and PS5, however, some regions will receive access to the game in the later hours of September 28. Below, you can check out the exact release time for each major region:
PS4/PS5:
- North America: September 28 at 9 pm PT or September 29 at 12 am ET
- Europe: September 29 at 4 am UTC/5 am BST/6 am CEST
- Eastern Asia and Oceania: September 29 at 1 pm JST/2 pm AEST/4 pm NZST
In addition to PS4 and PS5, Valkyries Elysium will also be available on PC, however, the release date for the PC version has been set for November 11 this year. Thus far, no confirmation on an Xbox or a Nintendo release has come from Square Enix on the game.
If you are going to play Valkyrie Elysium on PlayStation, there is currently a free demo of the game available on consoles, which allows players limited access to the first few missions of the game. Hopefully, you can carry over your progression from the demo to the original game after its full launch.
Valkyrie Elysium is currently available for pre-order for $59.99. Of course, this is the price of the Standard Edition, but if you are an old-school fan of the series, and you want to own a special piece of the game, you can get Valkyrie Elysium Digital Deluxe Edition for $74.99, which includes access to Valkyrie Elysium as well as Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. Also, the Digital Deluxe Edition gives players instant access to the in-game equipment Svartaljr: Sword of the Goddess of the Underworld. Moreover, if you pre-order any of the digital editions, you will receive access to the in-game weapon of Alscir: Sword of the God of Light.
Valkyrie Elysium supports a free upgrade from PS4 to PS5, which means with only one purchase you will receive the game on both PS4 and PS5 consoles on the same account.
