Developer Stunlock Studios has confirmed that the PS5 version of V Rising, a vampire action and survival RPG, will be released on June 11th with its PvP and PvE modes. For now, it will not be available on Xbox or Nintendo Switch.
V Rising is a vampire-themed Survival/RPG where players control bloodsuckers in both PvP and PvE modes. The unique aspect of Stunlock Studios‘ game is that players can build and decorate castles as they wish. It’s almost like a vampire simulator, which garnered much attention for its interface and gameplay system on PC.
Since the State of Play on January 31st, we have known that V Rising would come to PlayStation 5 as an exclusive release. Its launch was set for when the final version (1.0) was available on Steam. Now that this has happened, Stunlock Studios has announced the PS5 release date.
V Rising will arrive on the PS Store on June 11th. This means it will be about a month since its 1.0 release on Steam, which occurred on May 8th, 2024.
Thus, PS5 players will be able to join the vampiric adventure of V Rising. Many are curious about whether the control system will be sufficiently refined and about the new features that the DualSense controller will bring to the experience.
Stunlock Studios’ title will be priced at 35.99 EUR/USD if you are subscribed to PS Plus. Otherwise, its price will be 39.99 EUR/USD in digital format. According to the official PS Store listing, a PS Plus subscription is required to play online, and it supports up to 60 players in multiplayer mode.
There are a total of three editions. All of them include five days of early access, playable from June 6th if you pre-order the game. While the standard edition only includes V Rising, the Legacy of Castlevania Edition is priced at 59.99 EUR/USD and includes this themed DLC from Konami, and the impressive Complete Edition is priced at 99.99 EUR/USD, with all DLCs and paid updates released to date.
V Rising is set to become one of the highlights on PS5 this summer. Starting June 11th, or five days earlier if you pre-order it, you will be able to play it on Sony’s console, even though the final PC/Steam version has been available since May 8th.
