Undawn’s Island of Mist update brings a brand new storyline to the Aurich Island map

Level Infinite and LightSpeed Studios have just released a massive update for Undawn, the open-world survival RPG. Titled Island of Mist, it comes with lots of content including a new map, expanded storyline, raids, and several in-game challenges and events.

Undawn’s Island of the Mist update takes players to Aurich Island, which unlocks after reaching level 90. This region features a strange town dotted with numerous secrets. Here players will find a freaky wastewater plant and an obscure research base that are begging to be explored.

Everything began when the Raven Squad uncovered mentions of a mysterious island. They were going after the cause of a catastrophic event, which led them to find information from the Venus Laboratory and Hela Military Base. Fragments they found here pointed to Aurich Island, where they hoped to locate the source of the mutation and break the calamity’s deadlock.

The misty island has a dark past and players find out what went wrong in the two solo challenge strongholds – Infested Sewage Treatment Plant and Sunken Dolan Town. In addition, players can participate in the Snowy Hunting Grounds weekly dungeon with a squad of three or four players above level 35.

Furthermore, November will see the release of a new monster siege mode offering thrilling PvE gameplay. Players will be tasked with defeating all nightmare monsters outside the Redwood Outpost. This will be followed by a defence of the region’s central power station, which is critical for survival.

To top it off, there’s also a Trick or Treat Halloween-themed event as well as Rory’s Music Dreams event. Players will earn a wide variety of goodies for participating in both of them.
