Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection Leads PlayStation Plus March Game Catalog

This month’s PlayStation Plus lineup is packed with 17 games, or 18 games if you consider that the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection at the top of the list actually includes two games that are fully remastered for PlayStation 5: Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. All games will be available on March 21, including the tropical open-world adventure Tchia’s day one release.

Uncharted’s haptic feedback is actually pretty basic compared to some modern titles like Returnal and Deathloop, but it does provide a bit more resistance and vibration that will feel immersive, and the added 3D spatial audio is definitely what Uncharted has always needed with its breathtaking environments.

Aside from Uncharted, Ghostwire Tokyo is another title on the list that takes advantage of the PS5’s adaptive triggers and ray tracing to capture the rain-soaked, stunning environments of Tokyo like no other game. (Though it’s not a competition for Neo: The World Ends with You’s stylishly evocative and elegant anime version of Tokyo, which also happens to be on the list).

Final Fantasy Type-0 is here to dispel the persistent misconception that the upcoming Final Fantasy 16 is the darkest entry in the series, as this game packs a darker punch than Attack on Titan ever did. Dragon Ball Z: Kakrot, Rage 2, and Immortals Fenyx Rising are also great choices for players looking for something less down-to-earth and more fantastical and wild after the weekly drama of The Last of Us.

But if players really want the same kind of personal and empathetic storytelling that The Last of Us had, then Life is Strange 2 and Life is Strange: True Colors are definitely two games to go for, and they couldn’t have come at a better time. Both games encourage players to embark on very heartwarming journeys and have choice-based, high-stakes narratives.

There are still gamers who will always chase the mysterious and curious, and Sony has blessed them with the aforementioned Tchia, as well as Untitled Goose Game and Haven, three games that are definitely unlike anything anyone could have made. Street Fighter V Champion Edition and Rainbow Six Extraction are also here for those who want to get away from the single-player nonsense and go head-to-head with friends.

Last but not least, we have the monthly package of classic PS1 and PSP games, and this time the list includes Ridge Racer Type 4 (PS1), Ape Academy 2 (PSP), and Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror for PSP. The last one in particular is mentioned to include extra features such as: enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.

As for the other games, it is not clear if they will come in their PS4 or PS5 versions, or if they will include both versions, although the press releases of earlier months previously mentioned this information.
